Performances, Pets, Charity and.... Clubs?

The stage was set, the lights were dimmed, and the atmosphere was electric as Rising Phoenix Academy of Performing Arts busted open the doors of the Crazy Horse Revue to the public for Humanity vs. Technology- A Charity Event. 🎭 🐕 💃

Performers: Pixie Piper, Jesse Tyson, Jade Rennae, Naome, Daisy, Naome, Georgia Rose, Nova Mystic, Winchester Angel & Arabella

Rising Phoenix's students along with some iconic names in the performing arts industry, took the stage with acts that explored the complex battle between humanity and technology. Daring dancers, burlesque babes, pole pros and awe-inspiring aerialists came together to create a thought-provoking experience, leaving audience members in awe!

Amidst the captivating performances, the true heart of the event was it's mission to reach out a helping paw to our community. Performers, businesses, community leaders, audience members and pet parents alike all came together to support a local Adelaide Charity Safe Pets Safe Families. This organisation provides shelter, food and help to for people and their pets who find themselves facing hardship due to domestic violence. It was a cause we could truly get behind, as a number of our own students, performers, and even Fawn herself had once found themselves a victim of DV. With help from our entire community, Rising Phoenix Academy successfully raised $2,000 to support Safe Pets Safe Families. We were honoured to have Safe Pets, Safe Families CEO in the audience who came to support us, announce the winning raffle, and speak a bit about all the good that both her and SPSF does! 🐕 💜 🐾

Our good friend Shane from See Do Eat Review lent a helping hand in creating a fun and impactful night, agreeing to come along and provide some social media coverage. For an in-depth look at how the night went down from his front row seat, you can read his review here!

Humanity vs. Technology was not just a performance; it was proof that while technology may be advancing, the human heart's capacity for compassion and generosity remains timeless. As we reflect on this remarkable event, remember that we can all make a difference, and sometimes, it starts with an unforgettable night of clubs, artistry and charity!

As owner of Rising Phoenix and producer of Humanity vs. Technology, I want to personally thank everyone who showed their support in one way or another for our event - from donating prizes, helping raise money, or even selflessly volunteering their time despite the stigma associated with the adult performing arts industry. You are the people that make our community so amazing!  - Fawn ❤️
